Our official practice name has changed from Joseph K. Weidner, Jr., MD, LLC to Stone Run Family Medicine in order to accommodate our growing practice. Our address, phone and fax numbers have remained the same. The website name, as you may have noticed is now www.stonerunfamilymedicine.com rather than www.jkwmd.com (please update your bookmarks accordingly).

All requests for prescriptions will be available at the time of request on the next business day.

For example, if a prescription refill request is phoned in at 9:30 am on Tuesday, the prescription will be ready by 9:30 am Wednesday. Please note they will be ready the next business day, so if you call a prescription in on Friday, the prescription may not be ready until Monday. So please know when you need your next refill and give yourself ample time to get it refilled before you run out.

This policy applies for all prescriptions, those that are picked up at the pharmacy and those that need to be picked up at our office.

We are excited to announce that Stefanie M. Steiner, DO has joined our practice. Stefanie M. Steiner D.O. is a Board Certified Family Physician. Dr. Steiner graduated from the Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine, and completed her residency training at the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey. She has been in practice for 7 years, formerly in Kemblesville, Pennsylvania. Dr. Steiner resides in Chester County with her husband and two children.

Dr. Steiner is presently seeing patients.

With the addition of Dr. Steiner, we will be making some changes to our hours. Beginning June 1^st, our hours will be:
8:00 AM - 5:00 PM - Monday through Friday
8:00 AM - 6:00 PM - Tuesday

In a nutshell, our changes are as follows:

• Tuesday is our new "long day" where we see patients until 6:00 pm.
• Dr. Weidner's short day will change from Thursday to Wednesday, when he will see patients in the morning.
• Dr. Steiner will see patients all day on Mondays and Wednesdays and in the morning on Thursdays.

We are excited to announce that we will be hosting a Zumba fitness class in our office on Wednesday evenings. Zumba is a dance exercise program inspired by Latin and International music and dance movements that creates an effective exercise routine. The details:

• When: Wednesdays, 6:30 pm - 7:30pm^th
• Where: In the waiting room of our office (101 Colonial Way, Suite A)
• Cost: $5 for adults, Free for under 18

The Zumba classes will be led by Laurie Miller of the Fun & Fit for Life Foundation, a non-profit organization focused on promoting healthy, active lifestyles. Please let Laurie know if you are planning to attend.
